Disney Channel and Audience Boost for HD+

Now four years old, the HD+ platform reached 1,280,783 paying German homes in September 2013, up by 35% on 2012, with a further 1.4 million enjoying their initial 12-month free-of-charge viewing period.

This year, the free viewing window is being reduced to six months but HD+ viewing cards purchased in the first quarter of 2014 will still receive 12 months free viewing from the platform.

The HD+ platform broadcasts to Germany from the ASTRA 19.2°E satellites, currently with 15 HD channels, including Comedy Central HD, Deluxe Music HD, DMAX HD, kabel eins HD, N24 HD, Nickelodeon HD, Pro7 HD, RTL HD, RTL II HD, Sat.1 HD, sixx HD, Sport1 HD, Super RTL HD, Tele5 HD, and Vox HD, along with free-to-air access to a further 22 channels.
