Connected TVs boost shopping

After transformations from the internet and mobile, the retail industry is now poised for revolution by interactive television through connected TVs and hybrid broadcast/broadband devices. Conlumino predicts that within two years, one in four people in the UK will regularly use interactive television to shop, and the joining of television and the internet will generate nearly £750 million (€942m) worth of direct sales by the end of 2014.
